Pick up was right on time. Easy to exchange voucher for ticket. Everyone very friendly. Nice to have the nibbles and drinks included. Not a huge amount of wildlife to see but we did see hippos. You could see the spray from The Falls miles away down the river. We were sailing away from the Falls and the couple of hours was very relaxing and peaceful and the sheer size of the Zambezi River was awesome. We were lucky that there were very few people on the excursion so that made the peace and quiet even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a pleasant relaxing couple of hours this could be for you. - Yvette Faris

We had a great time on the African Queen Sunset Cruise. Luckily for us, the terminal was right next to our Lodge/Hotel, so we could walk to it in under 5 minutes (we could also walk back but were told to keep an eye out for Elephants that could be on the road in the evening !). We arrived at the terminal to be greeted by a very friendly Daphne who explained how it all worked and escorted us to the African Queen. We boarded and were shown to our seats and were then very well looked after by one of the hostesses - Florence, who kept us supplied with drinks (pretty much whatever you wanted and as much as you liked) and a stream of delicious nibbles. On the 2 hour cruise, we were told all about the local wildlife and the Zambezi river. We saw Hippos, Crocodile, Elephants and a number of different bird species. And of course, we saw the sunset over the river - a beautiful vivid red. This was an excellent trip and well worth the money - highly recommended. - Kevin Collins
