Victoria Falls

Activity Description

Chobe National Park is well known for its large herds of elephant that frequent the Chobe River on a daily basis. In the dry season an estimate of up to 85,000 elephants can be dispersed within the Chobe National Park, where the majority of them can be found along the river. Apart from the herds of elephants, Chobe also has lots more to offer. The Park has lion, leopard, buffalo and a whole host of antelope like sable, puku, kudu, eland, roan and many others which you can get to see. The river is filled with big pods of hippos and some of the biggest crocodiles in Africa.

This tour departs daily to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. Clients will be transferred to the Kazungula border where their Botswana guide will meet them. They will proceed straight to the morning cruise where they will spend the morning game viewing along the Chobe River. The cruise will end at around 12h30 and clients will go to a hotel on the riverbank for lunch. After lunch, guests will board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park. Following this they will be taken back to the Kazungula Border where they will be met by their Zimbabwean guide for their return transfer to Victoria Falls.

Customer Reviews

This was an amazing trip shuttle was clean and compliant the lunch at Chobe was awesome and also the game drive was amazing - Thokozani

My husband and I enjoyed a one day visit to Chobe National Park whilst staying in Victoria Falls. We enjoyed the boat cruise first followed by the game drive in the afternoon. In between we enjoyed a scrumptious lunch and drink where we met other travellers from across the globe. We were amazed by the cruise and the sights of hippos, crocodiles and buffalos enjoying the river but the game drive left us in awe. At one stage when we drove out to the river bank it was like viewing a savannah of animals. We were so gobsmacked. It was all we imaged and more. Both the cruise and game drive guides were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient and nothing was ever too much trouble. We would highly recommend this tour and a visit to Chobe. Its a must! - SHARON

Great service, on time, friendly staff. The place where we stopped for lunch was so beautiful. My kids have food allergies, and they were so accommodating. The chef came out to speak with me and made me feel comfortable with the food order I gave for the kids. The cruise and the safari drive were amazing. It was sad that we did not see even one elephant on the cruise. The last time I took the water cruise I saw 100's of elephants but this time we saw none. The guide said due to it being so cold, elephants don't come to the water. They made up on the game drive since we saw so many elephants and other animals. We got to see a lioness with its kill. A suggestion would be to offer hot tea or coffee on the cruise. It was so cold and even though they provided blankets it was still freezing. I did this trip on July 10th. 2023. - Sunita

This was an amazing experience the game cruise and the game drive was amazing. The buffet lunch was awesome 10/10 - Thokozani
