Customer Reviews

Great experience! Would be happy to do it again. The pilot was Grant and he is excellent. - Steven Widdows

Awesome experience! Beautiful and exciting! Effective, reliable and professional service as well. - Lars Heurgren

The Microlight flight over the Victoria Falls is the best way to see the falls when they are their full force. In the morning we walked on foot in the Victoria Falls National Parks of Zimbabwe and Zambia where you get a great view close and personal with the falls. In the afternoon we took the Microlight Flight which showed us the greatness of the falls. You see how slowly the river moves to the crack in the ground where it falls and after that it continues it's zig-zag journey down the beautiful gorge. And the microlight gives you the unique opportunity to enjoy it without any obstacles as you are flying in an open aircraft with only a helmet on your head. The service from Activitar was impeccable. They took us from our hotel on time and after the flight returned us. In their airport the personal was very polite and quickly explained the safety measures and what we should and should not do. And after that we immediately went to our plane and took off. Pascal was my pilot for the day and he was very polite and nicely explained about the falls and it's surroundings. He was very good at spotting wild wife around the river. - Nikolay Landzhev

This flight is not to be missed for those visiting Victoria Falls. The view up there is just so much more rewarding, I saw hippos, rhinos, buffalos, elephants! Heiko was my pilot, he's great. Thanks! - Max Ang

Wow.. incredible experience, thank you. Only unacceptable issue was when we arrived having paid, on time at 3pm we were told that we wouldn't be flying until 6pm as the conditions were too windy (only 5 knots! Nonsense.) and they don't fly microlites until the evening (but we had a booking??). We were then asked to choose a different option..(why?) but when challenged the story changed that it was too hot and would be uncomfortable for us. More nonsense. I then spoke direct with the pilot who said we could fly in 30 minutes and said something about a passing storm cell. No idea whether this was true..didn't feel like it. We then flew in the microlite. It was really amazing. No video though as this was broken. - Mark Johnson
